System Software Validation Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for Validation Engineers who are passionate about automated validation and want to work with innovative data center technologies. They would join a small team c.a. 10 people and contribute to comprehensive validation of Intel Optane DC Persistent Memory, used in server platforms.

As a Validation Engineer, you will have an opportunity to validate the next generations of Intel Optane DC Persistent Memory (https://bit.ly/2Mxd9lu) modules which will be released to the market in a few years. You will contribute and use state-of-the-art validation frameworks, instrumentation, and automation capabilities (e.g. automate environments with the capability to scale hundreds of nodes). Your duties will include debugging software products through the execution of customer use cases to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. We use a modern approach to infrastructure management: immutable deployments, infrastructure as code. Our team controls the full infrastructure stack, so you will have the freedom to choose technologies.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the following skills and qualifications are desired:

  • Practical knowledge of concepts in the following domains: validation automation, validation frameworks, scripting languages like Python, PowerShell or Bash.
  • Some prior experience in SW/FW validation.
  • Good working knowledge of Linux-based and/or Windows operating systems,
  • Knowledge of Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana and/or REST API will be an asset
  • Must have either a BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Good command of English.
